Where did you grow up?
Renfrew, Ontario in the heart of the Ottawa Valley
How long have you been running your business?
I took over as Branch Manager in May, 2019. Prior to that, working in Guelph.
What made you start your business in Downtown Acton?
The opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing community, close to my home
How has the pandemic affected your business and how is it moving forward?
Our branch is busier than ever since the pandemic began. We recognized immediately the importance financial institutions play in the day to day lives of our customers and community and made the decision to stay open. We have been open for business the entire time – providing relief measures and advice to both retail and business customers. We have also pivoted to providing remote banking options for our customers that need it, which has been a learning curve for us all. Looking forward this has improved the way we communicate with our customers and has allowed us the flexibility to help our clients bank the way they want to. We have had the opportunity to really connect with our clients as many were working from home. This is wonderful as we have been able to really focus on what is important to them. We have been able to really help those negatively affected by the pandemic by protecting their financial goals, at the same time, helping them look forward to better days.
