Where did you grow up?
Toronto.
How long have you been running your business?
Seven years; since 2014.
What made you start your business in Downtown Acton?
I would come to a seasonal trailer park on Fairy Lake during the summers and became a downtown Acton shopper. When my laundromat business became available, I jumped at the opportunity. I had great support from the BIA and the community getting the business up-and-running.
How has the pandemic affected your business?
The laundromat was deemed an essential business, so I was allowed to remain open with limitations. I am grateful to the community that continued to use the Fresh & Clean Acton Laundromat during the very difficult time.
