TRICK OR TREAT CELEBRATES
LARGEST KIDS HAUNT EVER
Downtown Acton hosted over 5,000 attendees this past weekend

November 1, 2018

HALTON HILLS, ONThe Downtown Acton BIA (DABIA) finished hosting their annual Trick or Treat on Main and Mill event that took place in the historic downtown Acton this past Saturday, October 27th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

It was
another raving success for Downtown events this year after the Acton Leathertown Festival’s record-breaking attendance of over 15,000 people. Trick or Treat on Main and Mill broke records in both attendance and in business sponsorship.

This year there were 65 participating businesses in the Downtown, with nearly a third of them also supporting kids activity stations. The event attracted over 5,000  attendees including over 1,000 costumed kiddies

” I have never seen a Town rally behind the Halloween season like I have with Halton Hills. The local support for this event is both inspiring and unique. As a first-timer, I did not know what to expect. We hosted over 5,000 people Downtown on Saturday which was an incredible turn-out. Speaking to previous attendees and Councillors, it was estimated to have been over four-times larger than previous years! “
