About the Festival

The festival began in 1977 as Acton Days, created to celebrate downtown, support local business, and raise funds to help refurbish Town Hall. In 1991, it became the Acton Leathertown Festival, an annual tradition that proudly celebrates the history, community spirit, and charm of Downtown Acton.

Today, the festival brings people together for a full day of live entertainment, local vendors, great food, family fun, and everything that makes Acton unique. Whether you are visiting for the music, shopping, attractions, or the atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Vendor Applications

The BIA is accepting vendor applications for the 2026 Leathertown Festival.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, sponsoring the festival, or learning more about how to participate, please contact us at info@downtownacton.ca.

Important Vendor Information

Space is limited, and vendor categories may be capped to help ensure a balanced event. Applications are reviewed on a first-complete, first-considered basis. Please do not send payment until your application has been approved.

Food vendors will be required to submit all applicable health department and municipal event licensing documents.

NOTE: We are limiting 2 of each type of food vendor and 3 of each type of merchandise vendor at the Leathertown Festival. First applied with all required completed forms, first accepted basis. Please do not send payment until you are approved.
