“Thank You Essential Workers”

April 27, 2020

Many businesses are closed in Downtown Acton due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but The Acton Veterinary Clinic isn’t one of them. Deemed an essential business, they are still helping clients with their animals.

To show their support for other essential services and front-line workers, on Monday, April 27, members of the clinic stood on Mill Street with a sign saying “Thank You Essential Workers”.

Support Others

“Given the extraordinary circumstances, it seemed like one way we could support those people doing so much for us as a community” said Janet Jeffrey, who owns the business with Dr. Stephen Hess.

To ensure the safety of staff and clients of the veterinary clinic, clients cannot come into the building at the moment. Staff all have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the clinic is exercising extreme sanitation.
