MEDIA RELEASE: ‘Stalking the Downtown’
for the Fall Fair

Downtown Acton [September 12, 2018]

This upcoming weekend (September 14th-16th) the Acton Agricultural Society will be hosting their 105th Annual Acton Fall Fair – one of Ontario’s oldest annual events – at Prospect Park in Acton. As a tribute to this year’s event, the Downtown Acton Business Improvement Area (DABIA) has beautified the Downtown core.
Street posts are now freshly adorned with festive corn stalks between Eastern Avenue and Main Street along Mill Street East.

The DABIA office located at 45 Mill Street East has information guides for this year’s Fall Fair along with other information on upcoming local events.

A big thank you goes out to the volunteers for this season’s ‘Stalking the Downtown’ event: Lucky Deamer, Linda Olson (Royal LePage Escarpment Realty), Monica Galway-Parker (Profile Hair Salon), Mike Albano (Ward 1 Counsellor) and wife Nancy Albano.
