Patricia arrived in the Toronto area from the Bahamas in the mid 1980s. From there, she attained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Computer Information Technology from the University of Guelph. She attended Algonquin College, becoming a Red Seal chef. After traveling with her husband Stephen for many years for work, they returned to Canada in 2001 and settled in Acton to raise their family. After owning and operating a bookkeeping company in Halton Hills for over ten years, Patricia completed the requirements of the CPA program in the Fall of 2018.
Community Involvement:
Patricia is an active community member being Community Treasurer for Special Olympics Halton Hills and Treasurer for First Acton Scout Group after being an active leader with the Acton Scout Group for ten years. Patricia joined the Acton BIA Board in 2018. Other than camping in all four seasons (except summer), Patricia enjoys living healthy and spending time with her husband and four children.
